Adrienne became a member of the TWFK team in winter 2021. She has a secret talent for turning any skill into pretend play and loves to create sensory obstacle courses!
Adrienne showed an early passion for working with children of all ages. Prior to working in the field of Occupational Therapy, Adrienne already had over 10 years of pediatric experience in multiple settings. Adrienne obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at California University of Pennsylvania. This inspired her to enter the work force in home-based behavioral health. Loving the work but looking to expand her skill set, she returned to Eastern Virginia Career College for Occupational Therapy schooling. Adrienne provided outpatient fine motor intervention and school-based therapy in Northern Virginia before moving to Pennsylvania and joining the TWFK team.
Adrienne is creative and has a wide range of interests, including instructing martial arts and providing education to scout troops; she also speaks conversational Italian! When she’s not in the clinic, you can usually find her at home playing drums or spending time with her dog, Trevi.
