Meet Our Team

Emily Murray

 MOT, OTR/L, IMC

Emily Murray is a licensed and registered Occupational Therapist who joined the TWFK team in October 2010. Emily received a Bachelor’s of Science in Therapeutic Recreation and a Masters of Occupational Therapy from Temple University. 

Emily has many years of clinical pediatric experience in a variety of settings, including pediatric acute care, pediatric long term care, school settings, and private clinics.

Emily has a passion for sensory integration, sound based intervetion, DIR model, Svetlana Masgutova’s Neuro-Sensory-Motor and Reflex Integration, and John Barnes’ Myofascial Release. She has attended numerous conferences and lectures in these areas, and she incorporates these treatment modalities into her daily sessions in addition to a variety of other modalities.

Emily is a certified Interactive Metronome provider, and she received a Professional Certificate in DIR/Foundational Capacities for Development from Profectum Academy in 2015.  Emily is our evaluation expert as well. 

Emily Charles

Emily is a licensed and registered Occupational Therapist who joined the TWFK team in May, 2013. She graduated from Elizabethtown College with a Bachelors of Science in Health and Occupation and a Masters in Occupational Therapy. Emily has over six years of experience in pediatrics, including school and clinical settings. She has a passion for sensory integration and listening programs, and received her certification in

DIR® and Therapeutic Listening® in 2010. Emily is also enthusiastic about including myofascial release techniques into her intervention  for which she received certification training in 2013. Emily is dedicated to providing child-centered therapy following the DIR/Floortime model; she received her DIR/Floortime Certificate from Profectum Academy in 2015. Emily applies DIR principles to feeding therapy, which she provides for children who experience mealtime challenges stemming from sensory sensitivities.   

Coleen DeFruscio

 MS, OTR/L, IMC

Coleen DeFruscio is a licensed and registered occupational therapist who joined the TWFK team in January 2014.  Coleen obtained a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Psychology from St. Joseph’s University and a Master’s of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University.  Coleen has a wide range of pediatric experience, and has worked in home-based early intervention settings with

infants and toddlers, in preschools and elementary schools, and in pediatric outpatient clinics. She has worked one-on-one with clients as well as provided consultation to teachers and families.

Leah Snyder

 MOT, OTR/L, IMC

Leah obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from the Pennsylvania State University and a Master of Occupational Therapy degree from Wesley College. 

Leah is a certified Interactive Metronome provider and has a strong interest in continuing education in sensory integration, DIR, and reflex integration techniques. Leah has been utilizing sound-based interventions (I.e. Tomatis, ILS, etc.) since her early years as a clinical assistant. Leah is incredibly passionate about the field of 

 

pediatrics and continually pushes herself to be the best occupational therapist she can be.

She is also a HUGE Philadelphia and Penn State sports fan!

Heidi Miller

MS, OTR/L, IMC

Heidi is a licensed and registered Occupational Therapist who joined the TWFK team in September, 2019. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson University with a Bachelors of Science in Occupation and Health and a Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy. Heidi has experience working with child ages 0-21 in the pediatric outpatient setting.

Heidi received certification in Therapeutic Listening ® in 2019. She has also completed training in Learning Without Tears K-5, Talk Tools Feeding Therapy: A Sensory Motor Approach, and foundations for Neurodevelopmental Treatment.  


Heidi is passionate about supporting children and their families as they transition through the lifespan as she has an adult brother with autism spectrum disorder and intellectual differences. 
 

Ann Marie Wehe

Office Administrator

Ann Marie has been with TWFK since Fall 2016. She graduated from Delaware County Community College before joining our team as office manager. Ann Marie keeps us running smoothly as our primary scheduler and she’s a helpful resource to families when it comes to questions regarding our in-house therapeutic programs and billing. Adrienne Durante

COTA/L, IMC

Adrienne obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology at California University of Pennsylvania. This inspired her to enter the work force in home-based behavioral health. Loving the work she did with special needs children, she returned to Eastern Virginia Career College for Occupational Therapy schooling.

Adrienne showed an early passion for working with children of all ages. Prior to working in the field of  Occupational Therapy, Adrienne already had over 10 years of pediatric experience in multiple settings. Adrienne worked with children performing outpatient fine motor intervention and school-based therapy in Northern Virginia, prior to joining the TWFK team in early 2021. Adrienne joined our team with a continuing desire to learn and grow, while helping kids reach their full potential. She can't wait to introduce your kids to her creative approach to sensory intervention.  Adrienne is creative and has a wide range of experience including instructing martial arts and providing education to scout troops
